CAD Handshake Before Mechanical Freeze

A tutorial for turning CAD requests into a repeatable, version-safe release process before brackets and harness lengths are frozen.

CAD handoff should happen before bracket sign-off

Mechanical freeze often slips because teams ask for CAD after the bracket concept is already approved. That leaves no room for connector keep-outs or cable exit corrections.

A lightweight handshake on revision, mating surfaces, and file type removes most of the churn before sourcing touches the BOM.
